Product Introduction
Anti-Glare Solar Module: Matte Finish, Flexible Mounting, Zero Fuss
Standard solar panels are mirrors you can't switch off. Installed at eye level - over a carport bay, along a walkway, beside a school fence - their glass front can throw bright reflections into the eyes of drivers, neighbours and pedestrians. In glare-sensitive locations, this alone can delay an approval or sink a sale.
The Anti-Glare Solar Module from Tammy Renewable solves the problem at the glass level. Instead of the conventional smooth, highly reflective front glass, it uses a special matte anti-glare glass that scatters reflected light across a wide angle. The anti-glare solar carport keeps generating at full power - it simply stops blinding the people around it.

What Makes It Different
A quick word on the physics, because it matters for how you sell this product. Conventional module glass reflects sunlight in one concentrated direction, like a mirror - bright for anyone standing in that path. Anti-glare (AG) glass carries a micro-structured matte surface that spreads reflected light over a wide range of angles instead. Total reflection barely changes; perceived brightness drops dramatically. In plain terms: the light goes everywhere, softly, instead of straight into someone's eyes.
And because the anti-glare effect lives in the glass, the cells underneath are standard high-efficiency cells - the module's power output and cell-to-module (CTM) ratio stay essentially the same as an equivalent standard module. Anti-glare performance with no watts penalty.
Why Installers and Distributors Choose It
- Matte, low-glare surface - the micro-structured glass softens reflections and visually softens the busbars, giving the module a clean, uniform appearance that looks right at eye level.
- Full power output - same cell platform as our standard modules; power and CTM essentially unchanged versus conventional front glass.
Where the Anti-Glare Module Shines
Carport modules sit at head height, tilted toward the sky and often facing rows of windows or a road - this is exactly where glare complaints start. Low-glare modules turn a nuisance into a non-issue, and the matte appearance makes the whole structure look finished rather than industrial. Whether it is a two-bay residential carport or a six-bay commercial canopy, the surface stays quiet under low morning and evening sun.

Where people walk, sit or dine beneath or beside the array for hours, comfort and appearance decide the sale. The matte surface reads more like a shade canopy than a power plant, which is precisely what architects and homeowners ask for - and the hidden-busbar look fits premium terrace and garden projects.
Fuel and charging forecourts are monitored by cameras, patrolled by staff and regulated for visibility. Sharp reflections from a canopy array can interfere with CCTV coverage and distract drivers at the pump. low-glare PV modules keep the canopy doing its two jobs - shading the forecourt and charging the cars - without the light show.
Schools, kindergartens, clinics and apartment blocks are full of the two things that make glare a project-killer: people, and neighbours with opinions. Anti-glare modules remove the objection before it is raised, which is why more tenders for community projects now simply specify low-glare panels.
Arrays along roads, railways and approach paths face the strictest scrutiny. Full aviation-grade projects require certified glare values and documented testing - for those, ask us about measured glare data. But for the large majority of roadside and urban projects, the matte-glass route already removes the perceived glare that triggers complaints.
